The Eastern German Shorthaired Pointer Club (EGSPC) is the second oldest club in history for the German Shorthair. It is the only Sporting Breed Specialty Club to have been granted status as an AKC member club. Located in New Jersey, the club boasts members from CT, NJ, NY, PA and several other states in the U.S. For over 70 years, the EGSPC has been promoting the natural and versatile qualities of the GSP through Specialty Shows, Field Trials, Hunt Tests, and many other Performance Events.  The club also holds an annual Training Day to help the newcomers learn and for everyone to enjoy the versatility of this marvelous breed.
