The Eastern German Shorthaired Pointer Club is the second oldest club in history for the German Shorthair. It is the only Sporting Breed Specialty Club granted status as an AKC member club. Located in New Jersey, we boast members from CT, NJ, NY, PA and several other states in the U.S. For over 60 years the EGSPC has been promoting the natural and versatile qualities of the GSP through Specialty Shows, Field Trials, Hunt Tests, and many other Performance Events as well as holding Training Days to help the newcomers to learn and enjoy the field work of this marvelous breed.
